About
Hi!
I’m Amy,
Registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach (DipCNM, mBANT, CNHC). Here to support you in taking that first step towards gaining control of your health. I will guide you through small yet impactful steps to enhance your health and wellbeing from the inside out and create healthy habits that last.

My interest in nutrition and wellness started when I experienced difficulties with my own health.
My journey into nutrition began in my late teens when hormone struggles and the pressures of study and work left me feeling constantly run down. I experienced pain, fatigue and anxiety that made everyday life harder than it should have been. A chance encounter with a blog about nutrition for hormone health inspired me to make small changes and the positive impact was far greater than I expected.
I became so fascinated by how food and lifestyle could transform my wellbeing that I retrained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, qualifying as a Nutritional Therapist in 2019 and also completed a Health Coaching certification with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, deepening my ability to support both the science and the practical, everyday side of change.
Today, I specialise in the link between nutrition and mental health with a focus on calming the nervous system and building resilience. I combine professional training with lived experience to guide clients towards simple but powerful changes that fit naturally into daily life.
My approach is realistic and supportive, no restrictive rules, just personalised strategies that help reduce stress, improve energy and create a calmer, more balanced relationship with food and health.
These days my health issues no longer control me.
My mission is to share what I have learned to help you feel empowered, confident and hopeful, knowing that lasting change it possible through a whole person approach that nourishes both body and mind.
When I’m not working I enjoy studying to build on my knowledge of nutrition and wellness both for my own and professional benefit. I love spending time with my family, long walks, curling up with a good book and eating great food.
“Food and gut health are very personal things to explore with someone you don’t know, but I can’t recommend Amy enough. I feel like a new person and am so glad I found Nutrition for Joy.”
